Scouting.
With the gym shoot complete, we went scouting today for a location to shoot more Sterling Rope products at Peshastin Pinnacles State Park. Our goal: find a pinnacle where we could easily set up a top-rope in order to rappel and demonstrate using some climbing gear. Check. We'll be back this week as soon as this atmospheric river passes over.
In the meantime, it was a beautiful afternoon to hike around the pinnacles and look up and down our valley. The Wenatchee River valley is one of the things that lured us here, after all. The muted browns and oranges of autumn are striking with the deep blue sky.
It looked stormy in the Enchantments. It was windy and abnormally warm down in the valley. A vertical mile higher it was likely a different story. We'll come back here to Pinnacles in the spring to climb some of the routes. It's a cool place, just a few minutes from home.
As we got back to the picnic area, K fed Hadley. I joked how she would be camouflaged amongst the leaves. K plopped her on the ground. Yep, I could barely make her out. Where's the baby!?
That's a wrap… until we come back to do the real photo shoot.
