Grandma and Grandpa.
It'd been a couple of years since I've seen my parents. According to my mom, 579 days. They flew into Wenatchee's Pangborn field at the height of smoke season. Bummer. We were excited to share off our pretty beautiful valley. As it turns out, the hazy skies and heat of summer aside it turned out to be a wonderful visit. We took them to Ohme Gardens and on a hike along the Wenatchee River. We walked the canal. We ate woodfired pizza in our backyard. As we hurried to get them to the airport, I snapped a photo of them and our littles.
We love you, Mom and Dad. Can't wait to do it again. Maybe during the spring when the foothills are green and covered in wildflowers.
