38 weeks.
K has been incredible throughout this pregnancy. Yesterday, she officially began her thirty-eighth week. We wanted to remember it, and how beautiful she was carrying out little, little bundle.
It was an awesome day, with epic clouds and, well, epic wind. We were on top of a ridge, after all, among the dozens and dozens of wildflowers, exploding.
Very different than our photoshoot in the white and luminous snow when she was thirty-eight weeks pregnant with Sefton.
Also, looking back on those photos, her belly was down-right adorable. It looks so small! Not this one…
Every once in a while, Mommy's face would light up as I looked through the viewfinder. Then, a Sefton would appear. Her face always smiles a little bit bigger when that thing brings her flowers, or gives her hugs and kisses, or tells her 'I love you.'
I know she's excited, we're excited, to welcome this next one into our world. We also apologize to this baby in advance because our little family does some sort-of crazy things, like goes for a hike along a mountain ridge in the gusting wind and on-again-off-again rain to take photos. I hope you're ready for an adventure, baby. We certainly are.
