What a f*cked up day, and a little consolation…

Found this piece of music from composer Max Richter last week after listening to his 'recomposed' Vivaldi. It's called The Consolations Of Philosophy. Seemed fitting for today. Calm in contrast to the chaos. Simplicity over complexity. A quiet end to a loud day…

'Fundamentally, we respond emotionally to music. Sound is communicative, it affects us, it causes feelings and connections. Sound-making and listening are communal activities, they're communicative activities. Music moves us, and when we listen to it, we feel transported.'

~ Max Richter
