2001 Toyota RAV4: Front brakes
While K burnt our first log round, J helped me change the brakes and rotors on our little RAV4, which we long-ago named Luna (after Luna Peak in the North Cascades). He's gotten pretty handy with cars, having done the brakes and some other stuff on his Matrix. It's admittedly really cool spending time with him doing grownup stuff like this, seeing his strength and remembering the quirky little kid he once was. From the photos, it would look like he did most of the work while I ran around with a camera. Only partially true, heh.
Breaker bars are fun...
So are impact drivers, heh. Granted, I still had to use my torque wrench to crank down the lugnuts to 110 ft-lbs, but that was a lot faster than hand-threading them. On my wish list is this impact wrench... Some day.
And jacks...
Uhh, guess it's a good thing we installed some new pads...
Thanks for the help, J. Good to have you here.
