One of the first things we did last year was to update the house numbers on our front porch.
I laid it out quick in InDesign to get the kerning the way we wanted it. Powered up the table saw to rip a piece of scrap plywood, then sanded it. Taped the numbers to it and drilled the holes.
Boom.
They're the same ones I installed on our old house after I finished ripping out the gable above our front porch and hanging cedar shake. I guess we don't tire of a good thing.
Probably because it was easy. And we weren't too keen on the ones that were there.
